I'm tired of reposting variatons of what book should I learn lisp
from, so I decided to compile it into this blog post. I made some
mistake or omitted some great material for learning common lisp
please advise.

whoever ask 'How to learn common lisp' on c.l.l. in internet/google
era in first place, does not want to learn, he just want to talk about
it and troll, and c.l.l. is right place for that for sure
anyway, good job :)

Thanks for supportive words. Unfortunately there are too many trolls
but I still believe that there are also honest people looking for the
most up to date pointers. There were search engines more than decade
ago but still nothing replaces talking with someone that experienced
the whole thing of trying different books instead of just
recommending by how many link point to that page. Also I would like to
have the opporutnity of the lisp books to be mentioned in the right
context, since there is usually zero marketing for them. I would never
knew about Let Over Lambda and even less order it if Tamas didn't
mentioned it in discussion here in c.l.l. with Dan. Just like the book
never existed. And that's a shame for real treasures to stay hidden.

Good job. No mistake, but just few typo. In "Implementations"
section, the link "and Clozure CL http://openmcl.clozure.com"
is broken, and in "Scieneer http://www.scieneer.com/ is ..."
the link is missing.
That said, before newbies begin learning lisp, for some they
better begin learning "how to use search engine". ;-)

Well done!
They have a similar FAQ in c.l.prolog that is being reposted on a regular basis
so that even the newbies that don't bother with any prior searching will
directly stumble upon that FAQ. I suggest reposting this nice link every once in
a while here, too.

Thanks for the kind words. I would be happy If cll denizens in a hurry
post it as a reply to newbies. Link can't beat personalized reply but
it takes less time.
