Hi,

There used to be CLHS available at http://www.lisp.org/HyperSpec/
(the older version with long file names and a gray background).
It is no longer there, and lisp.org now points to lispworks for the
CLHS
(the newer version with short file names and a white background).
[Luckily, the older version is still available at
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/afs/cs/project/ai-repository/ai/html/hyperspec/HyperSpec/
and http://www.ai.mit.edu/projects/iiip/doc/CommonLISP/HyperSpec/
(although these URLs are far too long to be typed by hand)-: ]

I wonder what has happened to lisp.org?
Did lispworks force them to take down the older version?
If so, will they leave the mit and cmu repositories alone?

I have quite a few places which link to http://www.lisp.org/HyperSpec/
and I wish ยทยทยทยท@lisp.org would come back on line.
I find the long cmu and mit urls inconvenient to use in source code
coments.

Thanks.
Sam.
