The MathML for (P):
<mo>(</mo><mi>P</mi><mo>)</mo></mrow>
I guess if having to pair tags is good enough for XML then having to
pair the closing parens -- <mo>)</mo> -- is good enough for MathML.
Well, at least it is human readable.
