Hello Lispers,

I wanted to download LINJ to impress some Java programmers but
the server where the project is hosted (at least according to the
information at http://www.cl-user.net/asp/libs/linj) seems to be gone.

Does anyone know about the status of that project or maybe even have a
local copy of the code?

AFAIK, LINJ was a commercial, proprietary product.  As such, it probably
failed to gain any market acceptance, and if you cannot find any
remaining web site about it, it probably means that it is dead, and the
code is lost for the humanity.

The code never was public.


Personnaly, I remember cll shared some help toward LINJ, and the only
thing that remains, well it's cll archives.

It looks like Antonio is now at a university: http://www.gia.ist.utl.pt/~aml/lisp.html

From the comments on that page, though, Linj is probably gone. Still,
I'd try to contact him anyhow if I were you.
