Spam, spam, lovely spam...
I've just spent a few minutes randomly clicking on links on
this site... if only a few millions of other people do the same, it's
possible that the spammers may end up with higher networking costs
than they expected.

Or they may just count the clicks and say to them selves: "Hey, this
usenet advertising really brings in a lot of hits! Let's do more of
it!"
Spammers should be hung, drawn and quartered, not have their dreams
fulfilled.

Case in point: Frogman

A friend in NYC had a neighbor whose door was plastered with entreaties
to food delivery people not to slide take-out menus under their door,
ironically ensuring the despoilment of their space (and that my friend's
children would forever slide menus under their door).
Our brownstone vestbule for a long time was a quagmire of the damn
menus... but the last thing you want to do is anything but laugh at the
nuisance. It is like getting angry at cockroaches or mosquitos or stupid
drivers -- they simply are.
Back in the brownstone our quagmire went away when I saw a chance to
burn 2 calories by picking up any menus, and now when I am not loading
up on five-inch Rolex extenders (something got lost in translation) my
newsreader workout is control-shift-C, not even one calorie. :(
Meanwhile some virus or trojan or something has taken over Windows
Explorer and occasionally spontaneously launches infomercials or
something, I don't know, I just mute the sound LMAO at the, well,
invasiveness and temerity of the invasion.
Meanwhile I snagged a little laptop for my ECLM talk and the damn place
only had Vista. Pretty funny living the Mac commercial where you have to
say OK twice to do anything OSy, but hey, it only comes up every ten
minutes, worth it not to get taken over by some nuts that think they can
get somewhere by forcing infomercials on me.

Or you could live directly in the Mac world and also not have to deal
with it.....

If Franz had their killer IDE on Mac I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Or perhaps, let's all buy they products, making them rich in the
instant, so they can retire on a tropical island and leave us alone?
