First of all: I'm a complete newb to emacs and lisp so this is
probably a non-problem to most of you. Sometimes I get the message "No
input at point." from aquamacs and I can't type in anything anymore,
basically the only thing I can do is quit the whole program...I
couldn't find what this means in the aquamacs or slime manuals, could
someone please tell me what it means and how to get out of it
properly?

In my experience, this error message appears when the cursor is not at
the last line of the buffer. Just put the cursor at the end (M->) and
you should be golden.
