Xach Lee had some spinning lambda but I'm too lazy to search for it .
I like Gentle introducion cover http://www.computer-books.us/images/commlisp.jpg
With some cropping this could make a good one http://www-spi.lip6.fr/~queinnec/common/LiSP.png
But my current wallpaper is http://common-lisp.net/project/cl-weblocks/weblocks-shot.png

Lately I have been using this one:

2560x1600 Pixel

;-)

Idea for a Desktop Wallpaper on a large screen:
Make a picture in some nice colors displaying the
main Lisp concepts/symbols from the Hyperspec. Color code
classes, types, functions, macros, variables, ...

Well, why think small? I have plenty of pictures of Lisp Machines
here: http://picasaweb.google.com/ryszard.szopa/LispMachines (one of
them actually running in May '07!). Feel free to take them, remix,
cut, crop, make a collage... Of course, if you are desperate
enough :-)

Bests,

If you can see the desktop wallpaper, you don't have enough editor
windows open. :)
