My opinion is just a rough sketch.

I think the underlying problem is managing state in functional programming (FP). As fas as I understand things, the difficulties 
here, especially when it comes to parallelism, eat up the advantages. Well, I am no specialist on FP. Unless one can bring things 
forward here, I see no great future for subtext.

The GUI looks nice, but I think it's the second step before the first.

I wonder that people working on such ideas put the burden of Java on their shoulder's.
