Sometimes someone asks how to insert Common Lisp into a project. On
one of the Erlang mailing lists this was recently discussed for Erlang.
While not entirely applicable to Common Lisp (because the answer
focuses on the non-crashing aspects of Erlang) I think the answer can
provide some inspiration for the Common Lisp case. It's a pretty
