(copy is sent to debian package maintainer; i'm posting here just to check
if somebody had this problem -- maybe there's a workaround)
SBCL fails to install on current release of etch (i'm doing it on vmware,
but i don't think it's relevant).

at this point it hangs with 100%
if i kill it i get:

the installed SBCL hangs the same way on simple start, so it's not a problem
of installer or whatever..
)

looks like it's because of outdated vmware software and it works quite well
with newer version
)
