Subject: LispNYC to fund additional SOC project(s)

The Google SOC selection process has been completed and the selected
proposals will soon be visible on the Google page
(http://code.google.com/summerofcode.html). However, LispNYC still has
some funds left over (a combination of donations and mentor
organization payments from last years SOC) and is in the process of
deciding how to use this money. There are a number of different
options:

1. Fund another student for the full $4500
2. Fund another open source project (student or non-student) for $4500
3. Fund another open source project (fixed bounty)
4. Hold onto the funds and decide later what to do with the money

If you have a worthwhile open source project that you would like to see
funded, now is a good time to bring that to the attention of LispNYC.
To do so, join the LispNYC mailing list:
http://www.lispnyc.org:8080/mailman/listinfo/lisp

Note that you don't have to be a member of LispNYC (or even a citizen
of the US). The money will be used for Lisp projects only though.
