Hello, All!
did you know that (runtime of) Allegro Common Lisp is included in Microsoft
Visual Studio .NET 2003?!
:)
well, it's not Microsoft who writes Common Lisp -- they use
JavaLanguageConversionAssistant (which converts Java to J# i suspect) from
ArtinSoft:
E:\...o .NET 2003\JavaLanguageConversionAssistant>JConvert.exe
Microsoft (R) Java Language Conversion Assistant Version 7.10.2274.0
Copyright (C) 2000-2002 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
Portions Copyright (C) ArtinSoft S.A. Portions (C) Franz Inc. All rights
reserved.
inside we see acl5016.dll and 65-mb VJToDotNet.img
(in vs 2005 this conversion assistant is written with something else)
With best regards, Alex 'killer_storm' Mizrahi.

Patrick Dussud is one of the main designers of the .NET platform (I
don't know what exact parts though). He is an old-time Lisp hacker. For
example, he was involved in the CLOS standardization and in one of the
first CLOS implementations.
