Mistakes were made.
The unattributed quote in question was:
> NETSCAPISM /net-'sca-,pi-z*m/ n (1995): habitual diversion of the mind to purely imaginative activity or entertainment as an escape from the
> realization that the Internet was built by and for someone else.

Which he in turn attributed:
> of course, the definition of "escapism" from Merriam-Webster's Tenth
> Edition Collegiate Dictionary is mimicked both in form and content.
And then the meta-quote:
> thanks for listening, and for respecting the right of an author to be named
> the author also in electronic information. it's the only right we have
> left that new technology never was an excuse not to honor.
The problem is Erik is too damn quotable. TMSAIASTI.

A bit of an offtopick:
Ken, where can I get your cello project from. Anywhere I go at
common-lisp.net it just gives me errors when I try to download it.
Thanks,
Andrew

Are you using this?:
············@common-lisp.net:/project/cello/cvsroot
From the web I just got the tarball OK:
http://common-lisp.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/cello/?root=cello
Then allow a full week to get it built and running. :) That will include
the Cells and Celtk projects (Celtk comes with Cells for now).
Note that ASD files are not maintained. Fix as necessary by inspecting
LPR files.
If you just want GUI, Celtk is easier to install. If you just want
OpenGL, there is a Celtk3D.lpr in there somewhere. Cello gets you also
support of FTGL, OpenAl, and GraphicsMagick.
