Quite a few people have written to me
telling me that they have tried to run
Qi under Linux and failed.
There is in fact some minor difference
between CLisp under Linux and CLisp
under Windows. The difference is very
trivial but enough to upset the Qi
source code (sigh).
Having recently partitioned my drive
into Windows and Ubuntu Linux, I
will fix this in release 7.0 coming soon.
Its a one or two line patch.
So if you've been gnashing your teeth
and wondering why all the cute examples
on my site don't run on your Linux box,
you now know why. It's a platform
problem as most of you have figured.
