Cool, this may very well be the first Budapest Lisp User Group meeting.
Let me invite you as a special guest to this historical session :-).

I'm being sent to do some training in Hungary on Monday but just
found out this Morning that it's in Szeged, a bit further south :(

It's not that far. There's OK intercity connection from Szeged. The
last train leaves Budapest at 8:15 pm, but we could meet near the
station. It's in the center of the city anyway. See
http://www.elvira.hu for the details.

For me it's ok from Monday to Thursday.
So when/where ?
A place where we have enough room to open the laptops would be great.
(and not too smoky if possible :)

Should we take a power strip, so the laptops can run from 230V (if they
allow it)?
By the way, any time of the day is OK for me to start.

My laptop can work up to 8 hours on battery (I have 2 batteries which last 3
to 4h), it should be enough ;-)
But maybe others will bring laptops too.

Let it be Monday then... It's the best of the wrong options for me.

6? (If I can make it, I can make it anytime after 4.) I only ever go to
smoky places, so I'll leave the "where" question to the others :)
