I'm afraid you're a decade late. Try Lispworks (or Allegro) instead.

Golden Common LISP works in DOS. For instance the DOS on my HP LX200.
There are probably some lisp implementations in the DOS repositories
on the Internet, you might want to try a google search to find DOS
collections and then search them for lisp.

For example, some old versions of CLISP.

Why Lisp? http://alu.cliki.net/RtL%20Highlight%20Film
Recommended Common Lisp libraries/tools (see also http://clrfi.alu.org):
- ASDF/ASDF-INSTALL: system building/installation
- CL-PPCRE: regular expressions
- UFFI: Foreign Function Interface

I am _very_ sure this is not true. Goldhill 4 works as 16 bit windows
application and has windows libraries while Goldhill 5 is 32 bit windows.
CLOS implementation seems to be very early stage. If run as interpreted code
(if I remember correct even in compiled form) it 'randomly' starts compiling
during runtime.

But indeed, normally they don't even answer mails. I got one answer from
them because they misunderstood me and thought I might be an interested
distributor. All other request on how to buy their product, on bugs or on
obtaining a support contract have not been answered - there have been
several.

I had to work on a legacy applicaton in Golden Common LISP. I rewrote part
of their windows libraries to make the old app run under Lispworks. But I
don't owe the copyright on these libraries. I cannot give them away but I
might establish a contact to the owner if a cooperation might be of
interest. You can contact me at andreas <at-sign> atp-media.de

Yes, you are correct. I have mislabled it in my archive, searching
thru it with emacs reveals "Do you want to restart Windows now".
