networking options, "User X has upvoted 5 of your submissions, would
you like to ask them on a date?". Looks like they threw away elegance
for popularity, sounds like another of their recent decisions ;)

I like it much more with comments. But they just ripped them off from

As far as I can see nothing about reddit was original. There were three
features when it started: user submissions, voting and karma. These
three things are everywhere (and do not require web 2.0, whatever that
means) so their only original idea was to strip it down to a minimum.
They did and it was nice, now they are throwing away their originality,
elegance and simplicity to cater to the crowds.
Saying that Linkit ripped off reddit or vice-versa is like saying that
Apple ripped off MS when Xerox had it all years before.
Anyway this is really OT for this group IMHO so I'm bowing out of any
further discussions on the subject.
