Little is known at this time, it seems.

Some things you can expect... in the US, OOPSLA 2005 will be chaired by
Richard Gabriel, who seems to be quite a subversive Lisp user:
http://www.dreamsongs.com/

In Europe, ECOOP 2005 will also be more open to Lisp, due to the
embarrassing successes of last year's Lisp/Scheme Workshop and other
parenthetical showings:
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&safe=off&selm=cc6o16%24mje%241%40newsreader2.netcologne.de

Of course there are ones I don't quite know about like Bordeaux's Libre
meeting, as well as large spontaneous meetings as we saw recently in
Amsterdam... So you can expect lotsa Lisp entertainment if Lisp users
remain interested in meeting each other.

An interesting concern I've heard is whether there will be enough
papers to make high-quality presentations at both OOPSLA and ECOOP, in
addition to the ILC. OOPSLA and ECOOP are finally opening up, and for
all these crazy political reasons I'm sure I don't grasp, it will be
useful to make a good impression so the window doesn't slam shut again.
Anyway, that may not be a problem; just something vaguely interesting
to consider.

As I understand, the ALU should also be interested in gaining paid
memberships in the reasonably near future, because such conferences
have historically required a ~$40k investment (before costs are
recouped by entrance fees). Though of course piggybacking on Stanford's
facilities should mitigate costs somewhat. It is reasonable to expect
there will be interesting issues for members to educate themselves
about, like the representation of users vs. vendors on the board of
directors; members electing those board directors and shaping its
structure; financial statements which non-profits probably are required
by Virginian law to release to paying members; etc.

Apologies for taking any steam out of an ALU announcement. I was so
glad to see this, I had to share it. Be assured, I will read the
announcement with just as much interest :)

They should have changed the page title as well... :)
