I also was somewhat reminded of Graham's statement that all languages
converge towards Lisp.  Unfortunately, it seems that they still lack a
reasonable macro facility.

I don't think they will while supporting that crufty notation. It
would feel like doing intrincate arithmetics with roman numerals.

Their pride of the "foreach" feature (they even list it among the
prominent features) is telling.
