Looking at newsgroup postings, it seems Franz has released "1st class
environments" to customers. Does anyone know where I can find docs on
this; or at least basic api names where I can guess semantics?

Thanks. Hope I didn't miss some obvious place out of tiredness; found
nothing on the Franz site.

CLtL2, pp 207-214, with modifications, but basically recognizable.

I think they will appear in AllegroCL 7.0 which has not been released
yet.
