The Institute for Language and Information Technologies
(http://ilit.umbc.edu/) at the University of Maryland,
Baltimore County (UMBC) has an immediate opening for a
postdoctoral fellow to join a team developing hybrid
natural language processing applications using both
knowledge-based text analysis and generation and
stochastic methods. The ideal candidate will have a PhD
in COmputer Science or Computational Linguistics and
will also have excellent programming skills. This is a
one-year position with a possibility of extension to
three years. U.S. citizenship is required. The search
will remain open until the position is filled.
