Now that the Athlon64 processors are shipping and one can buy a
64-bit CPU and Motherboard combination for under $600, I wish to draw
attention again to the SBCL-AMD64 proposal at

For those who have been limited by 1-2GB process space on 32-bit
processors, I suggest consider donating to this project. Companies who
have the ability to profit from 64-bit SBCL are especially encouraged
to consider the business benefit of such a donation.
