The ILC 2003 talk by Paul Graham was somewhat funny.
No news though. Not that I would really care...

Please elaborate. Funny as in humorous and entertaining, or funny as
in strange? How did he manage to do a whole talk on the topic of Arc
without giving any news of its development?

Both.

Well, he was talking about some Arc features, making funny
jokes about Common Lisp, ...

He swears he has been working on it.
He was surprised to think something in his write-up on the Web had led
some of us to think he was dumping parens. He is not. But he believes
COND has way too many parens.
He likes Lisp, he thinks Common Lisp sucks. In his words, he "wants a
Lisp that does not suck".
He attended many talks over the course of the conference and showed a
lot of interest in what everyone was doing.
Specifically, we was aghast at how badly TeamKenny played. :) Me, I was
stunned that they played at all: fifteen minutes before the match I ran
TK against another team in true match mode for the first time and had to
fix three bugs that arose from the different conditions. And they would
have played much better except (I think) the highly trained goalie was
inoperative, tho there was no crash. Wait till next year!
He was surprised to learn he was in first place in the Road to Lisp
Survey as a lure to Lisp.
