Don't rag on the MacIvory Rev. 2 /w Genera 8.3--
I like retro hardware.

Here's the Q:

The MacIvory CP command:
Show Machine Configuration

detects the CD Reader.

The MacIIfx's SCSI tools see the CD Reader

However the Mac 7.6.1 OS does not, and
I don't know how to access the CD to add
some new Symbolics software on the system (Flamers:
yes I know modern lisps are faster, but I want to hardware-hack the MacIvory
and explore Genera.)

I tried:

Mount Optical Device (didn't work)

Show Directory CDROM1:> (didn't work)

How would I read the format of the Genera 8.3 CD -- & maybe build some
worlds, or add clim from it. (I've got all four disks :) )
