It would definitely be worth it, but the Lisp community currently has
limited resources. There were similar efforts in the past (e.g. "Free the
X3J Thirteen!" and the Lisp journal at lisp-p.org), but they were
discontinued.

Incidentally, part of the information analogous to that provided by Why
Smalltalk is available at CLiki and ALU CLiki. This way, the maintenance
work is spread among several users.
