does anybody know of downloadable lisp code that implements all kinds of 
compression algorithms (like the ones described in "Introduction to Data 
Compression" by Khalid Sayood)? what i have in mind is something like a 
toolbox of compression algorithms where you can plug together different 
parts of different algorithms to do some experiments.
