I'm talking about the CL implementation, not the window manager or
IBM's IDE.

I recently came across this paper

  <http://www.elwood.com/eclipse/papers/lugm98/lisp-c.html>

but the link to Eclipse is redirected to a page about robots. Seems to
be the same company, though, as they're still hosting this paper.

I googled a bit and found Howard Stearns' resume showing that he left
Elwood Corp. in 1999. It looks like he was the main architect/code of
Eclipse, so maybe the project ended at that time.

Does anybody know what happened to their Lisp? Just curious.

Thanks,
Edi.

I seem to remember a post here telling about the cancellation of the
project, but nothing more.

The product webpage used to say pretty much the same thing, but also
that the author was pondering what to do with the product, possibly
even inviting calls from prospective customers.

My memory is fading embassaringly fast, but I seem to remember Howard
Stearns to have attended last years lisp conference, so it might be
worth a shot to get in touch with him.
