Hi,

There used to be a fairly good and up-to-date clx manual at

http://www.uni-karlsruhe.de/~unk6/clxman/

but oops! no longer. Does somebody know where to get it? Google gives
me only the version with "this is a preliminary version" at the
beginning, which is quite dated and rather incomplete. The one I'm
looking for starts with "As of 2002-07-20 this is a new version of the
CLX Manual and no longer considered a preliminary version". Feeding
google with this does not help, though. :^|

Regards,
        Mario.

I found it, and it is indeed there, sorry. I looked at the link and
didn't realize that

http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~unk6/clxman/index.html
           ^^^^^

This is the difference. The mirrored copy at cons.org is still the old
one.

Regards,
        Mario.

I am sorry for the fuzz, but the address changed to

    http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~unk6/clxman/
               ^^^^ (indicating that I am a student, I think)

As Mario S. Mommer already pointed out.

Unfortunately the webmaster of www.uni-karlsruhe.de decided it would
be a good idea to just serve a "200 OK" response on the old address
instead of the a more appropriate "301 Moved Permanently" or even a
404 response so that e.g. Google will recognize that the old URL is
gone.

Also the "error message" is in German [and also kind of false] which I
figure most of the readers of the CLX manual cannot comprehend.

I emailed the local web master informing her/him/it of the suboptimal
solution and yet received no response so far. So there is nothing I
can do about this other than just waiting until all the stale links
fade out.

I am as unsatisfied with the matter as you are and apologize for the
trouble.
