I tried to use ilisp-5.12.0 (under Emacs 21.2.1) with gcl-2.4.3. When I
select gcl as the dialect, I see the gcl startup message and
prompt (actually 2 of them ??) as expected and then emacs freezes 
(showing a watch cursor) and I have to kill it. Is there a trick to 
getting this combination working? I can post the ilisp part of my 
.emacs if that would help.
