Yowza, Cello now has 3d push bottons (with labels, so I guess I also
have one-line static text widgets working), simulating the EDGE_RAISED
style if you know win32. The first button I did was "Close", the second
is "New" which puts up a second window, something that looked dicey
under the otherwise delightful CL-SDL but so far looks to be working
nicely under FreeGlut.
The biggest news is that, once the OpenGL issues were behind me, the
application framework formerly implemented in Win32 and ACL Common
Graphics Just Worked under OpenGL. Which is only as it should be if
events and imaging had been abstracted properly in the first place, but
this at least gives me hope a lot of progress can be made now in short
order.
