just arrived at page 37 of
"Basic Lisp Techniques"
<http://www.franz.com/resources/educational_resources/cooper.book.pdf>
and i must say:
I LIKE IT ALREADY!
my basic problem with LISP is:
i'm reading this pages in the "compiling-breaks" from Borland C++
Builder (a terrible Delphi-influenced C++ RAD-Tool, rapid, in fact you
get rapid results in the first days and rapid headache at the days after).
so i got 30 pages in 2 days (small project, small compile-times)
on bigger projects, i use compiling-downtime to make coffe, read books,
get some fresh air, make a quickie ... !
this would be not possible with LISP.
once 'captured' by the direct connection to the LISP-Computing-Space,
i'll be lost. No mouse. direct keystrokes & chords. pure interaction.
step. change. attach. release. full freadom. ist this a dream?
will see...
