Hello all,

This is a query to those people who have used LISP for
data/computationally intensive applications (e.g., data mining,
running potentially combinatorial algorithms on large data
sources). What kind of hardware fits in well with these kind of
applications? For example, anybody used LISP for computation on a
cluster of workstations? I see that the Franz site mentions some
success stories (e.g.,
http://franz.com/success/customer_apps/bioinformatics/mdl_story.lhtml
and http://franz.com/success/customer_apps/data_mining/ ) which
seem to such applications. What kind of hardware would one
run these on?

Thanks,
 Praveen.
