Greetings. LISA's first Beta release is available as of today. This
version consists mostly of much-improved documentation, although there
are minor feature extensions. In particular, I've added the function
RETRACT-INSTANCE; thanks to Art Nuzzo for locating that omission. The
new LISA Reference Guide documents the API; that and the examples should
help folks get started. Visit http://lisa.sourceforge.net for details.

In upcoming releases, look for:

  * Reasoning support for object hierarchies.

  * A DEFFACTS macro, a la CLIPS.

Regards,
