Design, implement, port & debug computer programs real time transaction
processing applications for credit cards, debit cards, payment systems.JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES - PRIMARY/FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES (MOST ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS)
All aspects of computer program analyses, design, implementation and
support
utilizing the "C" language.
Programs are written to run in-house to operate and report "c" libraries on
DEC Alpha hardware running VMS.
Porting of existing applications to new platforms as above.
Documentation of new and existing applications.
Percentage of time working on the above is very variable and depends on
current company needs.REQUIRED SKILLS:
"c" library calls on various UNIX's, VMS, and NT.
Program development using various application generators.
Specific experience with mission critical high volume credit card and
on-line banking and payment transaction systems and development.
"C" language expertise.
DEC VMS DCL, RMS, and RDB experience.
DEC Unix, SCO UNIX, DEC UNIX, and NT environments.
Real time telecommunications call processing.
Structured design philosophy.
Written communication skills.
5+ years "C" experience.
