JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide analysis, design and implementation of database applications
using IBM Visual Age Smalltalk products.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
OO analyses
OO design
OO development
Smalltalk programming
Object model documentation
Application troubleshooting
Reports generated with Reportoire
OTHER SKILLS:
QA testing of the application
Programming with IBM�s new Persistency Framework, Object Extender
Use case documentation
Knowledge of SQL
User interface
WEB enable and report generation for Internet and Intranet use
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 5 years experience in business related applications
development utilizing Smalltalk within a client server environment with
databases, preferably Oracle or in a mainframe database environment.
Should have superior understanding of relational database systems, their
design, implementation and analysis.
Every other Tuesday a Smalltalk Programmers Luncheon is held on the
premises.
This position is for full time employment - salary range $68,000-$98,000.
Benefits included are: Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance, 401K, paid
holidays and sick days, vacation. Casual day is Friday.
