Hey,

I've used CLISP a lot, but never on the Mac. I know it works on MS
Windows, of course.

Does CLISP work well on typical Mac systems? If so, which compiler is
best to build it with? If it's not completely functional, what's
broken?

thanks,
dave

CLISP should run on MacOS X. The file
clisp/unix/PLATFORMS has a few tips
for Apple PowerPC running MacOS X Server. Some of
them probably apply to
MacOS X as well.

What's broken with it:
  - No interface to the GUI stuff, no GUI itself.
  - Foreign function interface does not work on
PowerPC.
  - If Apple's cc is still as broken as in MacOS X
Server, then you have
to compile clisp without optimization, and
speed won't be optimal.
