Hi,

I tried to purchase "On Lisp" by Paul Graham but was told that this book
isn't available
any more. Is there any on-line version of that book?

Thanks

Rolf

I thought it was out of print too, but got a copy a couple of months
ago, from www.akademika.no. See

I bought a copy a couple of months ago from amazon.co.uk ;
perhaps it's still available there?

They're currently saying "We expect to be able to find this
within 4-6 weeks", which doesn't sound good. It looks like I
only just got there in time...

Brian's Books (http://www.briansbooks.com) seems to have copies of both Keene's
book and "On Lisp". I just purchased a second copy of Keene's to be on the safe
side.

I just ordered one from them as well. However I noticed the confirmation says

"While we will attempt to ship your order as soon as possible, a delay of
two to four weeks is not unusual if the book is not in stock and must be
ordered from the publisher."

"ordered from the publisher"? Hmm. Not terribly reassuring - we'll see if they
come through...

it just says so, but it doesn't really. I tried ordering it from them
a week ago.

I also registered a "want" for On Lisp on Powells and I check ABEBooks
every third day for the last month. nothing.

if anyone knows whom at the publisher we should bug, do tell.

I can not come up with a publisher, but I do have two copies of ON
LISP, I guess one would be enough ;-)

Just want to say that amazon.co.uk, after some weeks and emails saying
that they didn't find a single copy, has sent "On Lisp" to me.
Also, people of http://www.specialistbooks.co.uk said today that they
are about to receive a copy.
