An experienced and motivated programmer/system
developer is needed to join in a highly technical and
motivated team maintaining and enhancing a large
diagnostic expert system (written in ART-IM) for
telecommunications circuits.
Responsibilities include: Enhancing the system to
extend its range of diagnostic operations; interfacing
with network components such as frame relay switches;
and maintenance and enhancement of the knowledge
base.
Education/Equivalent: MS in Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience: 5+ years programming experience.
Candidate must be familiar with Unix, C,
object-oriented programming, and shell scripting, and
be comfortable in a heterogeneous programming
environment. Experience with expert systems, any
Lisp, ART-IM, SNMP, and telephony would be a plus.
