I'm working on a CLOS classification system and I'd like to add a time stamp
to objects as I create them. Does anyone know of any public domain time
functions that can read the internal clock and output with date and time?
(Some Html output from my program is at:
http://www.gibson-design.com/philosophy/easg-dictionary.html )

Thanks!

I'm still working on the code to accompany the paper I gave at LUGM, but
it is in production use with a client: http://www.naggum.no/lugm-time.html.

I expect it to be ready for publication in the not too distant future.
let me know if you're a willing test subject.

That's a great paper - impressive work. Yes, I would really like to be a
"test subject". I'll include a hyperlink with your name on all html output
that uses your time function if you like.
