Did any of you happen to attend the OOPSLA 2000 panel "Back to the Future:
Is Worse (Still) Better?" featuring, among others, Richard Gabriel? If so,
I would appreciate it very much if you could tell something about the main
topics discussed by panelists.
I have just received the OOPSLA 2000 proceedings and, unfortunately, there
are no panel summaries. Descriptions and brief papers from panels, invited
talks and other events were published in the OOPSLA 2000 Companion, but the
Companion was apparently distributed only to OOPSLA attendees.
