The A&R division has come into alot of new funding of late and in
addition we, Metrica/TRACLabs have won a few choice Phase 2 SBIRs. So
TRACLABs is in need of a fluent Lisper who could take on some work with
the 3T control architecture (HTN planning and reactive planning) on
several of those projects here in Houston.
I think we're talking a master's
level person who either might be wanting to take a break before
following up on their doctorate, or who doesn't plan to pursue a
doctorate any time soon and wants to get out and do some applied AI
for the space program.
A new PhD would certainly be acceptable, but s/he would have to be
willing to get some needed jobs done first before pursuing their own
research interests.
We can predict pretty solid employment for two years at least and
after that it's a toss up (as always).
