Is lisp dying? Free lisp compiler? Is Lisp dying? Gui toolkits for
Lisp? Did I ask if lisp was dying?

We seriously need a faq... :-P

PS I know there's one, but it seems very outdated... Any volonteers?

Just point people to www.lisp.org. If you feel an urge to volunteer it
appears as if they need them. Although I think it would be neat to have
an url like www.lisps-funeral,org to sends folks to.

Maybe instead of/in addition to reviving the FAQ, it would be useful
to write up a "Basic Information Sheet on (Common) Lisp", similar to
the "Linux Information Sheet", or the Meta FAQ. It would probably
contain info on:

1.) What is Lisp?
(+ pointers to DejaNews for old threads/articles on this?)
2.) Is Lisp dead?
(+ pointers to DejaNews for old threads/articles on this?)
3.) Where do I find out more?
(pointers to www.alu.org, the various vendor/implementation sites,
the old FAQ, and maybe a couple of direct pointers to online
    tutorials and books).

This should be fairly short, and could be posted here regularly.

Regs, Pierre.

This should also go to the FAQ.
