I'm having a problem with GNU Common Lisp 2.2.2 on Solaris 2.6. In sum, if I
remove `-static' from the compiler options, then I can't run the Tk interface,
due to some apparently missing symbols:

	>(si::tkconnect)
	Loading /home/cs/ugrad/hsci/private/build/gcl-2.2.2/gcl-tk/tkl.o
	symbol ".rem" is not in base imagesymbol "setjmp" is not in base
	  imagestart address -T 294000 Finished loading
	  /home/cs/ugrad/hsci/private/build/gcl-2.2.2/gcl-tk/tkl.o
	Segmentation fault

If I build GCL 2.2.2 ``out of the box'' however --- with `-static' --- then the
Tk interface works fine. But that configuration has problems of its own; most
important to me, tilde-filename-expansion dies (e.g., (load "~/foo")).

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Eric.

PS --- I'm using gcc 2.8.1.
