Hi all.  I was wondering if there was any free lisp compiler or
interpreter out there?  I'm trying to learn lisp.  Functional programming
seems neat!  I know that Franz, INC offers a slimmed down version.  I use
Sun UNIX System V.  Does lisp not come prepackaged?

You can get Poplog (which includes Common Lisp and CLOS)
free of charge and ready to run on Sparc Solaris or Intel Solaris
(and some other combinations, e.g. linux with and without motif
and DEC Alpha unix)
