i have some symbolics documentation i'm looking to get rid of,
and will be glad to ship it to whoever claims it first (*).
for FREE. the documents are:

(1) a tutorial on "lisp programming" corresponding to Release
    5.2 (1984).

(2) volume 3 of the reference materials, which is on the
    "lisp language" (1984).

(3) volume 5 of the reference materials, which covers "user
    interface support" (1984).

(4) volume 7a of the reference materials, which addresses
"programming the user interface" under Release 7.0
    (1986).

i know there's a lot of interest on this newsgroup from
people who have never seen genera live; the scattered
documentation i'm giving away provides some insight into
this mysterious functionality.

if you want to pay me shipping, i'd appreciate it, but it's
not necessary.

oh, i also have a symbolics machine i'm looking to sell in
the near future. it's an xl400, i think -- the "tower"
machine that's about twice the size (and four times the
weight!) of a typical tower PC. no keyboard or mouse or
monitor (although i have a web address of a brit claiming
to sell these and other spare parts). documentation to be
negotiated separately. i bought it used and it powers on,
but without the above i/o devices, i don't really know what
it's doing. if you might be interested in this, pass me
your email and any specs you need and any "checks" you'd
like me to make, and i'll see what i can find out about
the beast.

(*) i'd like to ship all of the manuals to the same person.
i also reserve the right to give them to someone besides
the first respondent, as a function of whose posts in
comp.lang.lisp i've benefitted the most from over the
    years.
