Please, need some info on these things:
1. what LISP stands for
2. who created it
3. year it was created
4. if it's based on any language
Any feedback is highly appreciated

Be nice now. This silliness could end up quoted in a international

I think nominally "List Processing."
Some have said "Lots of Insipid Silly Parentheses".
My paper "What's in a name?" has some more whimsy expansions still.
They may not be obvious, but they're hiding in the section heads.

1958. Last year we had the 40th anniversary.

Close enough.

Well, at least you helped him a little.

I apologize for replying with sarcasm and especially for replying with
misinformation, which is unacceptable in a technical forum such as
this. If I were to post to a foreign (language) newsgroup and receive
a sarcastic reply, I would probably not perceive the sarcasm. I would
be left confused or, even worse, believing the misinformation. This
is why it was especially imprudent to respond as I did.

That truly is a useful answer...

Lisp is based on Fortran.

I suggest you read the article on Lisp in the Proceedings of the 2nd (I
think) ACM History of Programming Languages conference.
