With so many different tyes of LISP's, which is the standard or which is
going to be the standard? Any recommendations for a beginner's book on
LISP?

I have yet to see any widespread support for ISLisp, EuLisp or even Dylan.

Several software systems have their own Lisp dialects (like AutoLisp for
AutoCAD).

Standards are available for widely used dialects like Common Lisp and
Scheme.
