I have to develop a program in Java that can start (execute) a CLISP
program capturing the input and the output of the clisp program for an
interactive work "session" in a applet.
So the 'to do' list is:
1)start a program from JAVA ... for example (!) clisp (I don't know how
to do)
2)capturing in java the handle of th input and of the output to write
and read to clisp.

Please, help me.

Does it have to be CLISP? In ACL it would be pretty easy to do what
you just described using sockets, spawning top-level interpreter
processes (the only problem would be getting them to run in their
own name-spaces so there were no clashes).
