Does CLisp compile binaries on UNIX systems?  I have gotten .fas files
(lisp binary) code, but can't seem to get stand alone binaries. 

Also, is it possible to use a different editor and write a makefiles
similar to the C programming arrangement in UNIX environments?  I like
the CLisp editor/environment fine, but I prefer to use xemacs.
