Could someone guide me in knowing both the "educational" and "asset" value of
a Symbolics 3640, Symbolics 3650?

They are usually given away for free, although RAM and Disks may be
worth somethign for someone who has a working but underequipped
machine.

The educational use was enormous for me. Clear manuals, an environment
with many new ideas, some in-mind cleanups about filesystems etc etc
etc

The machine is pretty reasonable, but
expect to pay a fare price for Generia
especally if you want the newest version.
It is a good programming enviroment beets
anything Micro Soft offers.
